How to rent furniture in Germany?

Check your visa requirements

Before moving to Germany, there are a few things you should arrange. As a European citizen, it is not too difficult to find a job in Germany and to move there temporarily. You simply have the right to travel and work in the whole country for up to three months with just a European ID.

For citizens from outside the EU it is a bit more complicated to move to Germany for work. First of all an Employment Visa is necessary. The German Embassy asks to register your temporary address at the Registration Office.

Make sure to check ahead of time what complimentary requirements there are for you specifically when travelling to or moving to Germany.
